Our journey begins with a brief overview of my experience, as I arrived prior to our meet to partake in The Beer Room on a personal basis.
5/2/18 @ 5:50PM:
“The retro sounds of Creedence Clearwater Revival adorn the room as I entered”
The vibe was quite relaxed. Tampa Bay vs. Boston Bruins playing on one screen and The Beer Room’s finest selection from the #3 – Ritual Art Of Dankness to their # 10 Mother Earth: Cali “Creamin” on Nitro Taps. The Beer Room features their menu’s on their TV’s and displays.

A courtyard with heaters welcomes both casual drinkers, beer aficionados, including connoisseurs from 3PM-10PM Daily and 1PM-10PM only on Sunday’s. The Beer Room is closed on Tuesday’s.

I was served by the lovely Kimberly, who mentioned having worked there since its opening and proudly stated that she loves working at The Beer Room. Kimberly then went on to ask me about my beer preferences and kindly shred their current offerings and happily provided a taster flight if you will.
Kimberly kindly offered a tasting comprised of brews from:
- Kern River Brewing Company (Kernville, CA) – “Chuuurch” – 7.6% ABV: Has a bitter taste with Mosaic, Citra and Amarillo hops prevalent in this brew.
- Fall Brewing Company (San Diego, CA) – “Apocalypse Pony” – 8.3% ABV: I really enjoy a nice Imperial Stout, this one contains the city’s local Dark Horse Coffee & Vanilla Beans.
+
- Fall Brewing Company (San Diego, CA) – “Plenty For All” – 4.8% ABV: This German style Pilsner beer includes noble hops & made with lager yeast, A great well-rounded beer.
- Mother Earth Brew Co. (Vista, CA & Nampa, ID) – “Cream Ale” – 5.2% ABV: A lighter more flavorful brew, this ale features the exquisite [Madagascar Vanilla Bean] which when added the brewery claims to give it that {“Cream Soda Kick” – Mother Earth Brew Co.}
The Local Flair:

Soaring above 30,0000ft. on this flight, I got a chance to meet and chat with a few of the locals that frequent The Beer Room. Fellow aficionado Mark Martinez, spent some time speaking with me about one of his favorite brews The Neapolitan from Black Market Brewing Co. in Temecula, CA. As we discussed our favorite sports plus hobbies, this beer centered our conversation like a trifecta of flavor, punch, & likability it was quite a delight to have enjoyed this brew with Mark. Cheers Mate!

Reuben is also a local who has become a regular by visiting the beer room since its opening, back in 2015. Reuben says:
” At first, it was a bit empty but they’ve always had really good beers. He noticed that as more people started hearing about it the crowd size increased by at least, if not over 50% from the first to the second year.
Reuben shared with MHC Promotions that he has come to really love The Beer Room for many reasons mentioned below:
– It’s different than a bar.
– There is a true sense of camaraderie between regular.
– People come to gather and decompress.
– I’ve met a lot of damn good friends here.
– Many reunions take place here.
– It is a convenient time & distance for many locals.
– The Beer Room is like a family.
Reuben also shared a few words about one of the main owners/operators Brian .
” Brian is a great host and people person. He can breakdown the taste profile & everything! I like his knowledge-ability and his access to the world’s finest beers.”
Reuben also recommends checking out KAZ Ramen & ABC Mongolian BBQ.
” The Ramen & BBQ spots are Grand Terrace’s local favorites, I highly recommend these locations after a few good beers”
