#SeeYouAtTheFinishLine: A tale of two cities

Hello all,

There have been a few hiccups with scheduling conflicts and life in general with the loss of one of my closest friends #MrKeepIt2… *(I decided to delay encyclockal and a in memoriam of #Mrkeepit2, so that I could reinforce my commitment to #MHCPromotions)
It started at Chalice festival, I was in line at the gates with @international_Vito and suddenly behind us some young Asian lady suffered from heat stroke and @Hosebeest came to help alongside us. That is how we met, helping others.. We then continued to stay in line and talk about how cool the festival itself was going to be.
After a great weekend, we decided to follow up…as we became interested continuing our dialouge; because he is a true craftsman that cares about why he does it. And, for the people he directly impacts. I felt that if I visited him, he would truly understand the reason behind MHCPromotions.
We continued to live our lives and plan the trip to Lake Tahoe…
I understood that for this I had to tune out the chatter and truly focus on the journey ahead.
Which entailed a truly amazing drive through our wilderness and natural resources, stuff that I only saw in textbooks and in my youth..But I never got the opportunity, to see it know as a man. A man who has been through many rises and falls, it was awesome…that faded away in an instant because I soon realized the world around that was in peril. The world around that is loud and busy, people fighting for their very existence.
Alas, when I arrived we had dinner and it was time to show @hosebeest that I was serious about writing about his passion. First, he mentioned that it was great to have me come out to see him and that he hopes I enjoyed my stay. Second, he is a big Noodle-Head…so the setting was none other than Lake Tahoe’s Yama Noodles.

He introduced me to his girl and we began to talk about his youth. He mentioned that he pursued an interest in music very young, and started freestyling in middle school. He vivdly described his memory of rapping in the back of a school bus. (a-la- cat in the hat! Lol) We then went to his humble abode and he introduced me to a good friend *(Which served in the military for an undisclosed amount of time at Ft. Knx) He to mentioned an affinity for rapping and they both shared more about their rap group “Deep City Conscious Movement” He now lives peacefully in Tahoe and focuses on making music again, mainly electronic but wants to get into hip-hop. And, now runs a page named “Hip-Hoppers of South Lake”. In hopes to unify like minded conscious individuals. I then asked @hosebeest about his craft, @Hosebeest mentioned that he is primarily a patient which donates their time in Resin Isolation, which he started in 2014. He began to work then because, his sister was severely afflicted by PTSD; which she acquired from 4 tours in Iraq. Back then she initially dealt with 11 prescriptions, now shes down to a quarter of one medication.
@Hosebeest opened the alpines to me in such a way that reminded me to continue my higher purpose…
To support those who appreciate charity, goodwill, and pushes the envelope when it comes to innovation and helping those around us.
What was an Interview, became a meeting of the minds. @hosebeest was curious about my own endeavors and we traded experiences, wisdom and connoisseurs insight.
We traveled the city, we continued to trade wits and experiences the enjoyment in the encounter reminded us the we have come a long way in both life and society.
He asked about the company and how I could help? I said, all I can really do Is share your experience to the world.

I asked him about the pros & cons of being in the industry.

Pros: His lifestyle is a true discovery and where he found his niche.
Cons: The constant judgement and stereotypes he has to live with on a daily basis.

As much as I tried to capture his passion in it’s entirety, he reminded me that I too need to take in the beauty and uniqueness of Tahoe’s wonderful lake and surrounding nature.. I captured my journey so my peers can see me relaxing, after grueling summer of showcasing the best of the best to my friends. It also gave me time to reflect on what is next for me. In these times of peril and hardships for many, sometimes we fail to realize how awesome life can be when we just live in the moment. Be kind to people, and let them know that they are valued.
@Hosebeest frequently mentioned how he enjoyed stepping out of his comfort zone, and opening up about the serenity & zen of life in the pines.
It was a great opportunity to take a break from all the social media and online gaming that we need in today’s age to stay relevant in today’s modern times. Not only modern times, but harsh times for everyone. I found my place when I spoke about my passions but when you have been as battle tested and came from what is considered a cultural ghosttown. It becomes what you love, and you want to keep working; on what motivates that.
But when you are practically retired due to developing a twitch, tunnel-vision, PTSD and the fatal blow of carpal tunnel; which limits my concentration and focus. All I have left to show the people is the people themselves, people love what they do…And I like seeing people happy.
