Harris Rudman provides an introspective approach to finding, one’s-self. Thus, the means of creating Alone Time are paradoxical yet serene. Which many believe, is the foundation of Meditation. Born Harris B. Rudman on May 08th, 1992 in (Sacramento, CA). A son of America, Harris pushes many boundaries in the musical scene lyrically, sonically, and conceptually; as if Harris created a black hole which, consumed and absorbed all of the negativity in today’s music.”
“Harris Rudman’s style is ubiquitous and undeserving at times, due to the modern swing of things. Yet, due to the modern swing of things does this EP, seems ready for the major leagues.”
“One listen to Alone time, will deliver as much shock value to your mind. In a positive and optimistic way, ironically but unlike Miley Cyrus! Does that make any sense?”…Unlike Miley, this album is #Music4AHigherConscious, thus meriting my permission to be placed on my blog.” – F.C.
How do I know? Because, Harris Rudman was a friend to me before I found HIS music…
OUR PATHS CROSSED
I first met Harris in Lake Tahoe, we were visiting a friend for a birthday. I met him later that day. A humble and zen-like fellow Harris passed beside me, he sat down. Like any average Joe, he just hung-out. A couple of mutual friends decided to go to the gas station for supplies, Harris decided to come along ……..
We were in the vehicle headed down-range, we were all trying to figure out what kind of music everyone wanted to hear. The driver played the first beat.… After, “Molto” head-bob’s later, Somebody finally decided to freestyle over said beat. “We #Cyphered”… Upon everyone, having their peace of the beat; it was coming back around to me and I felt an absence in the air. I asked myself “Someone didn’t hop in…?” I turned and asked Harris to flow. He was a bit dismissive and bashful, I encouraged him to proceed.
Little did I realize he had just completed “Alone Time”. “Moving forward, it was this car ride, where we became life-long friends.[Ending of walking in the sky is appropriate here] This. Is. Why. I see it fitting to be the one to present to you the official review to Harris Rudman’s: “Alone Time”. Feel free, to download the album and see for yourself @ Harris Rudman.bandcamp.com “

Track One: [Intro]
As an introduction, the opening track serves as the trendsetter for the entire album. The intro is what sets you up for the immersive body of work that #AloneTime really is. The intro states “So. What a funny thing is, that when we enter our own aloneness, it’s the only way we don’t feel alone anymore.”
Find out for yourself…
Track Two: Nothin’ New
If that was not deep enough for you, nothing new is definitely a reminder to everyone who has forgotten the true essence of the art-form. “Nothing new is a start to finish ‘urban-classic’” – F.C.
Track Three: How Long
How long serves as an ode to the reasons why we must preserve hip-hop. Without safeguarding, the old rules of communication.
Track Four: Answer to the riddle Pt:II
Does a riddle, riddle the riddler? Thoughts fill my head, every-time this song plays. By the time you reach this song, the forces on Alone Time’s intricacies are quite visible.” The way ‘Alone Time’s’ own pondering gets conveyed. One’s own mind can’t help, but to ponder along with it.” – F.C.
Harris States: “The minute I step in the room/any of you/who have any doubt what I do/will prolly get hit with a fountain of doom…“ “Man i’m just trying to find some equilibrium/ but every time I step I am met with evil resilience… And/ I/ try/ to say I’m /in/ it for the brilliance, hideaway my heart/let my body solidate millions…”
Track Five: Aluminum –
“The element (AL) seems to be highlighted in all of its mystery and luminance. Harris becomes a smooth flowing, punch-line delivering, relentless rancoteur of the microphone. This globetrotting track hits you over the head like a ton of bricks…Forever West!” – F.C.
On this track Harris presents an interesting proclamation:
“The Babe ruth of stay true but wait till they pay you/ Fuck That/I come back/ this shit/ just a prelude.”
“Hear for yourself” – F.C.
Track Six: Depths of my mind
“A track based upon reflection, living life, making use of time…Harris informs the user about why he lives life uninhibited, any why everyone should take part in reflecting ones own life and re-evaluate more than you may be used to.” – F.C.
Harris excites on this song, Contained herein:
“Misguided Minds – Salivating over pesto..” “I close my eyes, when I wanna see…”
“The depths of my mind help me redefine time.”
Track Seven: Fifth Element (feat. MadmanLeek)
“Blast away, with this heavy hitting, uplifting blade runner-esqe track of pure Flight…MAdmanleek compliments this track nicely, as he laces the track with a smooth groove. Yet, he prevails ultimately, as never lets up his assault of visual indictments.”- F.C.
“Mr. Rudman reminds everyone why his sound is one that should be championed and lauded for his unstoppable climb in the ranks of hip-hop glory.” – F.C.
Track Eight: Two Dollar Bill –
“Two Dollar Bill, comes off as a feel good golden state mono –electro jam. The live instrumentation sampling is genuine as the tracks chorus repeats: In the building feeling like a two dollar bill, all these singles around/I swear I’m two times as real…” – F.C.
Track Nine: D.O.F. –
Serendipity, Serendipity, Serendipity…
Is the new phrase going around rivaling the ‘Versace heads‘ round town…Salute his duality if you ever see Harris Rudman, D.O.F allows Harris to re-engage his lyrical assault upon the unsuspecting listener..
“Just speak up and be you/don’t copy what we do/ That’s sloppy and see-through…”
Track Ten: Walkin’ In The Sky – “Once again the powers of the herb open up the mind…” This is such an empowering track
Track Eleven: Blackout
“Have you ever heard a more cohesive track?” – F.C.
Have someone with you, in case you reach the blackout…
Track Twelve: Alone Time
Track twelve is a glorious track, it is smooth and harmonic. Harris’es Bar’z are on point. “The deeper the song goes, the more his prominence in this rap game emerges.” – F.C.
Track Thirteen: Aura
Aura, reinforces Rudman’s concept of being alone. It also points out, how we need others aura’s to ground us further on this earth. He identifies that our conscious is not bounded by our concepts of society, morals, or ethics. Creativity is driving our modern age.
Track Fourteen: Spider on the wall
As relayed to Harris from a spider, this track is serene in its entirety. Kudos to #CandyGang for encapsulating such an atmosphere of sounds. Shout to Harris for providing the audience with another perspective of which to be alone.
Track Fifteen: Nights like these
A true ending, to an awesome adventure; in the cataclysmic moment…when you agree.
When listening to the album at night, take a look around.
When listening to the album on the day time, remember why there is night.
In closing, Alone Time does exactly what it’s meant to do. It fires on all pistons and it allows you to see for yourself, the true finesse and flow that rap or any other genre delivers. Harris is masterful in his purity and cohesiveness to the entire project. Cam Feeny and Brian Lentz are superb in the way that they work together to present Harris, with an enormous platform in which to be recognized. Harris Rudman might me the most slept on artist in the ‘wild west‘.
